"Sol's Humble Hero" Felipe Pino.

                                                                                    FELIPE PINO

Everyone enjoys a Hero.  Someone that can Inspire others to be better.  To do Better.  This new blog "My Humble Hero" is dedicated to those recognized for touching people's life "Just Because".  They do things for others with no thought of reward or recognition.  Now we get to appreciate someone that goes out of his way to change someone's life for the better.  That special someone's life that he continues to make a difference for is his mom Sol Muller.  A Great Author that goes by the Pen name Victoria Vorel.  Our Humble Hero is Felipe Pino.  He has such an impact on her that she wanted to do something to show him how much he changes her life for the better every day.

Sol Muller has always been very proud of her son.  As a boy Sol describes her son as a child that got many great things in life until she got a Divorce, when he was 18 years old.  After some years she married again to a lovely Swiss man.  Sol and her Husband decided to buy a piece of Land and move to the South of the Country.

At this time Felipe moved to the Capital City, a great place for young people.  It was also an area with plenty of opportunities to make a nice living.  He was a Dental Technologist and Masseur and did very well for himself.

Eight years later the loss of his stepdad really affected the both of them.  A few months went by and he met a girl by the name of Evelyn and fell deeply in love with her.  She felt the same way and they started a beautiful relationship together.

Even though he was happy and successful there was always in the back of his mind his mother being alone.  She carried a lot of pain and missed the love of her life.

It was at this very moment that proves one person can make a difference in another person's life.  In Sol Muller's own words, "When your son decides to leave everything  behind, to be with you, because now you are totally alone, and starts running a business  in the place where you live, to make life easier for you, then he is a hero."

And just like she said he decided to move to the South to live closer to his mother.  He built some Cabins in the land and started renting them.  The name of his business is "Green Corner".

Life in the countryside  is beautiful but it needs a lot of work.  Sol was amazed at how he managed to take care of both his business and the land.  He did it all.  She looked around at the grass that was cut.  She was impressed by how the cabins were always painted and well maintained.  She marvelled at how hard he worked.

At one point the Land needed a change of the well pump.  So he learned everything  about it and made it by himself.

Felipe married the love of his life, Evelyn, a few months after their move.  She left her job as an Environmental Engineer in a big Company to be with him in his new adventure.  He was and still is very grateful for the sacrifice she made.

Winter was very rainy and cold that year.  He was afraid that at some point she would no longer want to live in the South, but his tenderness and the lovely way he spoiled her, convinced her to stay and join in the efforts to succeed.  She worked hard helping her husband with his business.  She also spoils him a lot as well.  She is an extraordinarily cook and talented in many ways.

Even though Felipe loves sports, cycling, roller skating and basketball, he always helped kids to improve their skills on those sports.  He was a Leader and showed these kids that you can do anything you set your mind to.  He proved this by participating on roller skating events in Paris, Florence, Edinburgh, London, and many cities of Switzerland. He also belonged to a roller club in Santiago (Chile).

He learned some of the English vocabulary in school but not how to speak.  However at 21 years old he went to Switzerland and because the family of his stepfather only speaks German and English, and not Spanish, he began speaking fluent English in just two months time.  Most people must study many years to do that and Sol was very impressed by how far he would go for the love of his family.

Whether it's  his willingness to help people who need a hand to build their home or his constant availability to drive anyone in need of a lift to his or her destination, his presence is always noticed. He makes wonderful sushi. One day he cooked a “Coq au Vin” to surprise Evelyn.  He is one of those people that go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of the people around him.

Thank you Felipe Pino for being Sol Muller's Humble Hero.  She admires you for your bravery.  She is proud of you for growing up to be so skillful and strong.  She knows you are always ready to overcome life's greater challenges.  You motivate people with your big sense of social responsibility.  And you lift people up with your positivity and optimism.  Because of your impatient side you are always on the move.  And she wouldn't want you to change a thing about yourself.  Fortunately, you like to do things meticulously.  Because of your precision and great attention to detail you make beautiful furniture.  You love nature and all living things.  To explain the value you have shown to your family and the people around you over the years would be like writing a book.  So we condenced it the best we can to show you our appreciation for touching the lives of others.  We are honored to have you as one of our "Humble Heroes."
